A little life update from our little family to yours:
During the shut-down/quarantine period we jumped on the band-wagon and adopted another dog. His name is Murphy and he is a yellow english lab, full of energy and love. He has kept us busy the past ~10 months with his little shenanigans. We’ve been fishing quite a lot this past spring/summer season. We were able to take both dogs on all our adventures this summer and they, of course, loved it. The most fun fishing trip we took was floating the Yellowstone River this summer with some friends. It was an all day float trip around hopper season, which made the fishing so much fun. It is always a really cool experience to see a fish take a big hopper off the water. Ty had an amazing hunting season this year and filled all of his tags: antelope, mule deer doe, mule deer buck, and bull elk. I was able to participate in filling the freezer this year and harvested my very first deer (mule deer doe). We’ve been so thankful for the opportunity to provide wild, fresh meat for ourselves for the year. After hunting season is over, we like to go fishing again before it gets too cold. This year, on November 22nd, was a very special fishing trip for us. Ty and I went to the Upper Madison River on a breezy Sunday morning and he popped the big question (I said yes, of course). We’ve been enjoying our engagement and lightly planning a wedding for the Spring of 2022.
